  •    Month 2
The baby’s body is taking shape, so calcium is very important this month for his harmonious development and health. Calcium helps bones to develop and baby’s teeth, prevents the risk of hypertension and postpartum depression. So, it is the most indicated moment to renew the calcium reserve.
Calcium rich foods are: milk, cheese, yoghurt, fruits, dry vegetables (lentil, pea, bean), fresh vegetables (spinach, cabbage). In general, the body uses the calcium from lactate products more efficiently.
    
        2nd month menu:
Breakfast: - one glass of milk or a cup of tea
  - one yogurt
  - one orange
  - two bread slices with butter and jam
Snack: - one apple
             - cheese
Lunch: - cabbage salad
            - turkey roast
            - potato mash
            - fruits salad
Snack: - yogurt with breadcrumbs
Dinner: - a slice of ham
             - pasta with grated parmesan
             - green salad
             - apple compote

  • Month 3
You need to accumulate energy for your baby’s harmonious development- lipids successfully accomplish this role. Baby’s necessities grow, but that doesn’t mean that you have to “eat for two”. Lipids have a very important role in cerebral development of the fetus. Opt for products which are rich in essential fatty acids.
Lipid-rich foods are: butter, sour cream, canola oil, soy oil, sunflower oil, olive oil, fatty fish (kipper, sardine).
    
        3rd month menu:
Breakfast: - one glass of milk
                   - grapefruit juice
                   - whole bread and tartinabil cheese
Snack: - drinkable yogurt
Lunch: - dressed salad with olive oil
            - calf roast with mushrooms
            - french fries
            - ice-cream
Snack: - pudding
Dinner: - fresh salad
             - grill fish
             - cow cheese with honey

  • Month 4
The baby develops and the amount of blood from his body increases. This month iron becomes very important. Iron is a precious ally: reduces anemia risk, tiredness and it also reduces the risk of abortion. Iron from animal sources is much better assimilated than from vegetable sources.
Iron rich foods are: liver, kidney, red meat, dry vegetables, green vegetables (spinach), egg yolk.
  
        4th month menu:
Breakfast: - one glass of milk or yogurt
                   - one fruit or one fresh fruit juice
                   - whole bread with butter and honey
Snack: - fruit compote
Lunch: - tomato salad with olive oil
             - cow cheese with milled nuts
Snack: - boiled eggs
            - orange juice
Dinner: - calf liver
              - boiled vegetables
              - dry fruits

  • Month 5
At this stage of pregnancy you plump more and more and your baby takes advantage of all the nutrients provided by you. Carbohydrates contribute to fetus’s tissue development and give you the necessary energy.
Carbohydrate-rich foods are: sugar, cereals, dry vegetables, rice, pasta, potatoes, chickpea, lentil.
    
        5th month menu:
Breakfast: - one bowl of cereals and milk
                   - whole bread with honey
                   - one grapefruit
Snack: - one yogurt
            - one banana
Lunch: - grated carrot with lemon juice and olive oil
            - chicken roast
            - spaghetti with tomato sauce
            - green salad
            - pudding
Snack: - rice pudding with milk
Dinner: - tomatoes salad with ham slices and cheese
             - peach compote

  • Month 6
As your baby grows, your stomach and intestine are compressed. You should not eat much, but frequently. Mostly due to proteins your baby managed to make reserves and renew the cells.
Protein-rich foods are: meat, fish, eggs, dairies.
    
        6th month menu
Breakfast: - one glass of milk
                   - whole bread with butter and honey
                   - one orange
Snack: - cheese with bread
             - one fruit
Lunch: - salad
            - calf roast with mashed potatoes
            - one pudding
Snack: - a piece of cake
Dinner: - egg salad
              - chicken roast
              - kidney bean
              - flan

                               Every single month of pregnancy is very important and you must take care of yourself in order to take care of your baby but these are the most important five months of pregnancy, with some basic information, and a separate menu for each month.
